Acting I
This course is the beginning of a series for the amateur actor. In this segment, class activities and assignments such as mime exercises and improvisations help students develop a better sense of their physical beings in performance and to fine-tune their concentration and evaluative skills. The course also explores current theater conventions so that students feel more comfortable participating in school or amateur productions. Students will read two full-length dramas and perform monologues and scenes from each.
