KCD's faculty is its single greatest asset, and some of the most creative, talented, and dedicated teachers in the region can be found at KCD. KCD's faculty bring an average of approximately fiteen years' teaching experience to their classroom, and over seventy percent hold advanced degrees.

Our faculty are also involved outside of the classroom, where they interact with students as coaches, sponsors, and advisors. The result is that teachers at KCD get to know students in a way that is not possible at many other places.

KCD is also committed to providing teachers with the resources to keep current in their field. Each year we allocate funds for professional development, allowing teachers to develop classroom curricula, attend conferences and workshops, and share ideas with other professionals.
