Junior takes fourth in state in discus
This spring, junior Marc Speed qualified for the second straight year to compete in the Kentucky State Track and Field Championships, which were held at the University of Louisville Frazier Cardinal Park. On May 31, Marc placed fourth in the state for Class A in discus with a distance of 128'08". This marks the fourth-best finish for the boys’ discus event in school history.

As a junior, Marc will be the preseason favorite to win next year's boys’ discus state championship. Marc is also an all-conference lineman for the Bearcat football team.
