Admissions Process

Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten

Complete and submit an admissions application to the Admissions Office. A $50 fee must accompany all online applications while the $75 application fee is required for paper copies. Neither fee is refundable. To be eligible for Financial Aid, the admissions application must be considered in the First Round of decisions. Call Square One, specialist in child and adolescent development, to set up your child’s Gesell Developmental Screening. There is a $65 Gesell Screening fee due to Square One at the time of testing. (It is necessary to have an application on file with Kentucky Country Day School, in order to set up a Gesell Screening.)

Give the signed confidential Teacher Recommendation form, obtained through this link: Teacher Recommendation Form, to your child’s current teacher. Your current school will send the form directly to us via fax at 502.814.4381 or mail.
Call the Admissions Office, 502.814.4375, to set up a required visit day.

Complete proper admissions testing. The CPAA (grades 1 and 2) or ERB: Comprehensive Testing Program 4 (Grades 3–12)
