Middle School Language Arts/Humanities Teacher

Kentucky Country Day School is seeking a Middle School Language Arts/Humanities teacher for the coming 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking an individual who embraces middle school education and has experience teaching language arts in an interactive and engaging manner. The position requires energy, optimism, and a passion for teaching middle school students. Experience with the effective use of educational technology is desired. This teacher will also serve as a student grade level advisor and will be a vital member of the middle school team. The priorities for the middle school include forging positive relationships with students and colleagues; crafting an optimistic and positive school culture; practicing shared learning and shared growth; and strengthening our team by capitalizing on teamwork.

A Bachelor’s degree in education is required. Experience teaching in long blocks, and crafting student-centered lessons that promote deep understanding are vital to this position.
