Milan Mack ’25 competes at Poetry Out Loud state finals

Congratulations to KCD sophomore, Milan Mack, who competed at the Poetry Out Loud State Championship on March 1, 2023 in Frankfort, Kentucky. 
Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest that encourages the study of great poetry through dynamic performance. All 10th grade English students participate with the help from a grant from the Kentucky Arts Council. This year, Milan emerged as our school champion, qualifying her for the state championship! We are so proud of Milan for a strong showing and representing our Bearcats well at the competition.
