School-wide winter coat and clothing drive success
This week the Middle School Community Service Club wrapped up its school-wide Winter Coat & Clothing Drive for Kentucky Refugee Ministries. In total, the KCD community collected 232 items (56 adult coats, 80 child coats, 36 hats, 16 scarves, 23 pairs of gloves, 19 warm clothing items, and two blankets).
The Middle School Community Service Club had been wanting to do a coat drive for a couple of years. The coats were needed more than ever this year due to the recent cold weather—so, thank you for supporting this meaningful cause!
