Lower School Visual Art Teacher
Kentucky Country Day School is seeking a Lower School Visual Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Desired candidates will be passionate about educating lower school students, and specifically educating them to be both artists and appreciators of art. The desired candidates will be enthusiastic creators of and participants in interdisciplinary projects, including STEAM. Collegiality, flexibility, humor, and empathy are vital aspects of teaching visual arts on our Lower School team. Desired candidates will have also demonstrated the ability to budget for and purchase supplies across a varied curriculum. The Lower School art teacher will join a group of visual art teachers who are working artists, as well as joining a dedicated Lower School team.
Qualifications:
- Prefer 2+ years of teaching experience with lower school students.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Art.
