Jobs

Great teachers have at least two driving passions. One is their fascination with a particular field of study; the other is their love for teaching children. Kentucky Country Day School seeks to employ teachers who embody both of these characteristics, and to that end, national searches are conducted for all full-time positions.

Professional Development

We are committed to ongoing professional development for our faculty. Every teacher receives annual professional development funds allowing them to develop classroom curricula, attend and present at conferences and workshops, and share ideas with other professionals.
I came to work at KCD because of the reputation it had as an academic institution. I continue to stay because of the support from the administration, the enthusiasm of the students, the backing of the parents, and KCD's commitment to providing us with what we need to be successful in the classroom as well as the opportunities for professional growth.
KCD firmly supports the principle that the admission of students, the employment of staff, the operations of the program, and the governance of the school be open to all who are qualified, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, or any other categories protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
