Ryan Shaps ’25 breaks 22-year-old school record in Cross Country

Bearcat Cross Country athlete, Ryan Shaps ’25, broke the school record for the boys 5000m with a time of 15:38.73 at the Trinity-Valkyrie Invitational held at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park on Saturday, September 21, 2024. 
The previous school record was set in 2002 by Alex Brey ’03, a member of KCD’s Athletic Hall of Fame and Royal Bearcat Society, with a time of 15:49.70.
