School-wide food drive for Dare to Care supports local community
The Middle School Community Service Club hosted its annual school-wide food drive for Dare to Care Food Bank.
Collection bins were located in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools the week of November 11-15. We are pleased to share that this year students and families collected 3,733 pounds of protein-enriched canned goods for the Louisville community. What a wonderful model of stewardship. Great work, Bearcats!
The Dare to Care Food Bank was created after the tragic loss of nine-year-old Bobby Ellis to malnutrition 52 years ago on Thanksgiving Eve.
