Math Team places 1st in Greater Louisville Math League for third consecutive year
Congratulations to the KCD Math Team who won first place in the entire Greater Louisville Math League for the third year in a row. This year nearly 200 high school students sat for at least one of the four tests administered and 18 teams competed from across the Kentuckiana area.
In addition to the first place trophy individual competitors are awarded medals for their age group. KCD students did extremely well and earned the following:
- Neha Khan—3rd place among 9th graders
- Caden Wang—1st place among 10th graders
- Peter Zhang—2nd place among 10th graders
- Grace Shen—3rd place among 10th graders
- Haoming "Bright" Zheng—1st place among 11th graders
- Adam Dockstader—4th place among 11th graders
- Ryan Schuering—2nd place among 12th graders
- Aria Mohammadi—6th place among 12th graders
