Matthew Kruer named Varsity Girl Basketball Head Coach
KCD Athletics would like to welcome our new Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach, Matthew Kruer!
Coach Kruer grew up playing basketball and baseball and always enjoyed the dynamics of being on a team. Over the past three years, he has been coaching basketball at KCD, starting with 7th grade boys, more recently with the freshman boys. He is also currently an AAU middle school girls coach.
Coach K brings a blend of energy and optimism to all his teams, fostering the development of young athletes both on and off the court. His own personal experiences in athletics have influenced him and his life experiences and he sees this job as an opportunity to positively impact the next generation of student athletes.
His favorite quote is, “How you do anything is how you do everything,” which will serve as a guiding principle in his coaching philosophy and is very eager to get started with the team.
