Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) in Louisville, KY, has an opening for a Middle School World Language teacher to teach both French and Spanish classes for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking an individual who embraces middle school education and has experience teaching both French and Spanish in an interactive and engaging manner. The position requires energy, optimism, and a passion for teaching middle school students. Experience with the effective use of educational technology is desired. This teacher will also serve as a student grade level advisor and will be a vital member of the middle school team.
The priorities for the middle school include forging positive relationships with students and colleagues; crafting an optimistic and positive school culture; practicing shared learning and shared growth; and strengthening our team and capitalizing on teamwork. Experience teaching in long blocks, and crafting student-centered lessons that promote deep understanding are vital to this position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in World Language instruction is preferred.
Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
