KCD Football Camp of Champions (Grades 1st-8th)

The KCD Football Camp of Champions enters its 22nd year this summer as the longest-running camp in KCD history. The camp is a great introduction to the game of football, including catching, throwing, route running, non-contact rugby tackling, and many other aspects. Campers will be divided by age and coached by the KCD Varsity Football staff and players. Come out and enjoy learning the game of football, the KCD Bearcat way!

Pirates & Mermaids (Grades JK-2nd)

An adventure-filled, imaginative summer camp, where children explore the world of pirates and mermaids through storytelling, arts & crafts, games, water activities, snacks, and team cooperation. This camp combines fun, adventure, creativity, and water play to ensure an unforgettable pirate and mermaid experience!

Bearkitten Field Hockey Camp (Grades K-5th)

Dribble, Shoot, Drive, Score! The KCD Field Hockey Camp is designed to assist elementary and middle school players in the development of their field hockey skills. The camp will center on the individual, small group, and team instruction. Camp staff will provide players with an overview of field hockey rules and their effect on team play will be discussed by the coaching staff during camp. The campers will learn a lot and have fun too!

Equipment Required: Players are required to furnish their own stick, mouth guard, shin guards, and water bottle.

Fun with Tennis! (Grades JK-5th)

Camp will focus on both advanced beginner and beginner tennis players. Campers will focus on two different strokes each day. We will break down the basics and have fun while playing. There will also be a beginning conditioning component to camp. Through fun tennis drills and games your tennis player will learn a ton and have better strokes by the end of the week!

Volleyball Bearcat Fun & Games (Grades JK-4th)

Do you like to play volleyball or are ready to learn, and also have fun with friends? Then this camp is just for you! Our camp is designed to learn the fundamentals of the game through a variety of game-based activities, challenges, and skill sessions, so players know the rules and how to play. We will work with players on agility training and set up team building exercises that will make this camp unforgettable! Join Coach Stuber, Coach Ford, & Coach Whitaker for this fun-filled volleyball camp! **Please bring a labeled water bottle and snack each day. Players must have tennis laced shoes and socks. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.

Roblox, Create & Co-Op (Grades 3rd-8th)

Roblox is an online game platform and game creation system that allows users to create and play games created by other users. There will be two devices set up but students must bring their own device and charging cable. Bring a water bottle; snack will be provided.

Bearcat Games: Session I (Grades JK-6th)

Coach Sample would love for you to join him this summer for a week of fun-filled games! Each day will feature different games such as basketball, kickball, gaga ball, four square, ultimate frisbee, capture the object, sharks and minnows, and educational board games inside if it is raining. Bring your tennis shoes, snack, and a water bottle.

Woodworking Camp (Grades 5th-8th)

Let's build something together! Learn and improve basic woodworking skills by choosing a beginner or intermediate woodworking project. Students will use basic hand tools as well as power tools (under supervision).

Into the Spidey-Verse (Grades JK-6th)

Get ready to swing into action this summer at Spidey-Verse Camp, where young heroes of all ages can discover their superpowers! Each day, campers will dive into web-slinging adventures, unleash their creativity through games and crafts, and train to become the ultimate hero. Whether it’s battling villains in a superhero showdown or crafting your own Spidey mask, there’s never a dull moment. Join Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost-Spider, and Spin for an action-packed summer where every camper becomes a part of the Spidey-Verse team!

CPR (Grades 7th-12th)

Want to learn CPR? Learn CPR and First Aid from KCD's Certified Athletic Trainer. CPR and First Aid training will help prepare individuals for breathing, cardiac and first aid emergencies that can arise in babysitting, lifeguarding and in a public setting. This two-year certification through the American Red Cross allows you to have confidence in assisting in emergencies.

Students will be taught how to:

- Performance CPR for infants, children and adults

- Use of an Automatic external defibrillator (AED)

- Basic First Aid skills

- Choking and foreign object removal techniques

- Understand the Cardiac Chain of survival
