US 3D Arts and Ceramics Teacher

Kentucky Country Day School is seeking an Upper School 3D Arts and Ceramics Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The desired candidates will be enthusiastic creators of and participants in public art and interdisciplinary projects, including STEAM. Collegiality, flexibility, humor, and empathy are vital aspects of teaching visual arts on our Upper School team. Desired candidates will have also demonstrated the ability to budget for and purchase supplies across a varied curriculum. The Upper School art teacher will join a group of visual art teachers who are working artists, as well as joining a dedicated Upper School team.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Art.
  • Prefer 2+ years of teaching experience.
  • Expertise in electric and gas kiln operation, hand building, potter’s wheel.
