Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

Job Description:
KCD is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes. The coach will be responsible for providing instruction, fostering team spirit, and promoting sportsmanship while preparing athletes for competitive play. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about volleyball and mentoring young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct effective practice sessions to develop players’ skills, teamwork, and understanding of the game.
  • Teach fundamental volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
  • Promote good sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among players.
  • Collaborate with the varsity coaching staff to ensure continuity in the program’s philosophy and strategy.
  • Supervise athletes during practices, games, and team-related activities.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging environment that supports student-athlete development.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
  • Ensure compliance with school, district, and league policies.

Qualifications:
  • Previous coaching and/or playing experience in volleyball preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
  • Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation:
  • Stipend-based pay
