AMC 12 winners announced

The American Math Competition 12 (AMC 12) took place on November 6. The AMC 12 is a 25-question, 75-minute, multiple-choice examination in high school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
The KCD Math Department is pleased to share the top finishers this school year: Bright Zheng ’25 and Caden Wang ’26 tied for 1st place, James Hu ’28 came in second, and Adam Dockstader ’25 came in 3rd. 

The American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) is a challenging competition offered for those who excelled on the AMC 12. AIME qualifiers will be announced in mid-December.
