Congratulations to our 7th grade students who recently completed their Euro Projects! This annual project requires our students to work in teams for several weeks to create a detailed presentation about why their assigned European country should host the next Olympics. Team projects included websites, videos, and written summaries of information on the country’s geography, economy, culture, tourism, landmarks, and much more!
The day started with small group presentations in front of faculty panelists who voted for the top four finalist teams. The final teams then presented to the entire 7th grade class who voted for their top picks in three categories: Best Presentation Overall, Best Video, and Best Mascot.
This year’s winners were:
Overall Winner: Norway (Braylen B., Clara G., Katie K., Cormac M.)
Video Winner: Norway (Braylen B., Clara G., Katie K., Cormac M.)
Mascot Winner: Italy (Tanner A., Jane C., Audi C., Cameron S., Eric W.)
