Upper School celebrates UN Arabic Language Day
At X-period on December 9, the Upper School celebrated UN Arabic Language Day (observed on December 18).
Parent volunteers came to campus and taught students and faculty how to write their names in Arabic and created name tags for them to wear.
UN Arabic Language Day was established in 2010 to celebrate multiculturalism and cultural diversity. On December 18, 1973, the General Assembly approved Arabic as an official UN language.
