Devine Carama speaks at X-period

The KCD Upper School was pleased to host guest speaker Devine Carama at X-period on Thursday, January 12. 
Devine is a nationally renowned, 2022 Emmy Award-winning hip-hop artist, educator, community activist, and motivational speaker from Lexington, KY. In honor of the upcoming Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, he spoke to students today about the importance of individuality, believing in themselves, and being a leader in their community. 

Students and faculty enjoyed as Devine shared his artistic talents, personal experiences, and the “4 Bs of Leadership”: be yourself, believe in something, be brave, and balance.
